17 Chinese get 4 years each for internet fraud

Phnom Penh Municipal Court sentenced 17 Chinese nationals Monday to 4 years in prison for using the internet to swindle victims of their money.

But the court only let the criminals serve five months and 15 days, suspending their remaining sentences.
 
The judge also asked police officers from the General Commissariat of National Police to deport the nationals back to their home country after their sentences have been served.
