Sok Na, 28, fled to Thailand last month and was apprehended in the Thai province of Chachoengsao on Thursday as told by Pol Maj Gen Ronasilp Pusara, commander of the investigation and interrogation division at the Immigration Police Bureau.
He and four others, three of which were caught in Cambodia are accused of killing Kitakura Kosei, 44, in March, after he had won around $18,000 in a Phnom Penh Casino. The gang targeted gamblers who had won large sums of money. Sok Na confessed to driving the escape motorcycle for the gunman and allegedly received $400 for the job.
The suspects has arrest warrants in Cambodia for two other deadly armed robbery cases.
Thai Police are currently looking for another suspect who is thought to have fled to Thailand.
