One day on 30th March 2013, AngkorBox went to Orussey Market, and arrived the market at 08.06.03 am. He parked his motor at the motor parking lot on the left side of the market. And the ticket operator walked his motor to keep its suitable place. He was walking into the market while he was reading the ticket, he, immediately, found the ticket fee is 300 Riel. Even though, he thought that the ticket operator will not charge that amount which authorized by the Ministry of Economics stated and stamped in the ticket fee 300 Riel for general people whenever they park their motor in the motor parking lot. He, therefore, took this ticket for a reference.
After having bought something in the market for a few hours, he just walked out of the market and directed to the motor parking lot to take his motor, right there. Then he pretended to ask the ticket operator, “How much, sir?” it’s hundred percent correct as he assumed at first, It costs 1,000 Riel, the ticket operator replied. Angkorbox responded back to him that in the ticket, it just costs 300 Riel, why you charge me, 1,000 Riel? He then hesitated and mocked up at AngkorBox and replied without looking at his face that “I have been charging for the ticket fee in that amount for all the people who parked here, not just you.” By AngkorBox didn’t want to waste the time with him, he then offered him 7 Riel. Finally, he agreed to take. AngkorBox went home with thinking in mind and remained a question that “Is it a form of corruption?”
